Suddenly, but peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, on 15th September at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend, Alan, aged 69 years, of Lawns Cottage, Ystradowen. Retired dentist of Tonypandy.  Dearly loved husband of Jackie, much loved father of Rhian, Elen and Jonathan, father-in-law of Geraint and Alex, devoted Taid of Tom, Osian and George, and a dear brother of Brian.

Alan will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
